Course Description

Course Profile

Students have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with three most popular mobile platforms: Android, Microsoft Windows and iOS. The course curriculum focuses on such subjects as: mobile databases, application programming for the three above-mentioned platforms, designing and modelling applications, software project management, gathering information from mobile (device) sensors, GIS and GPS usage, and many others. All students will be equipped with a broad knowledge of the most important aspects of creating IT systems for mobile devices.
The specialisation is adjusted to the current labour market needs. Its programme was prepared in cooperation with IT firms to ensure the best position of our graduates in the IT industry. The main goal of the specialisation is to prepare students for developing mobile solutions, working at programming departments and managing IT projects.
