The Physiotherapy program of study is adapted to the rapidly growing market needs in physiotherapy and an aging population. The program prepares students for a profession in the field of physical therapy, kinetic therapy, massage and manual therapy. Classes include knowledge about a human body and its locomotor system dysfunctions, the use of therapeutic exercises and treatments, as well as physiotherapy exercises in schools and institutions.
Physiotherapy graduates are prepared essentially and practically to work as physiotherapists in what is an independent medical profession. They acquire education and professional qualifications - in accordance with the health care requirements. The program also prepares participants to work in the health sector in general by giving them a comprehensive knowledge of social and health sciences and providing theoretical and practical knowledge of management and related sciences concerning the purpose, principles and problems of health system institutions in the world.
