Studies in the area of Geoinformatics provide the candidate with knowledge and skills in the field of geodesy and cartography.The offered courses enable the candidate to gradually develop his/her skills in the area of geodesy and cartography. The curriculum includes general and introductory courses offering both theoretical knowledge and practical instruction. The curriculum combines the following courses: specialist courses - modeling the future surveyor's profile (geodesy, cartography, photogrammetry and remote sensing, spatial information systems, real estate management),occupational training courses - preparing the graduate to perform specialist services in the area of surveying, keeping the real estate cadastre, numerical processing and presentation of the results of surveying, satellite, remote sensing and photogrammetric measurements, determining and registering the ownership status of property, acquiring data for spatial information systems, developing business maps, basic maps, topographic maps and thematic maps, surveying services for investment projects. The curriculum includes facultative courses providing students with the freedom of individually planning their educational program. Every student is required to undergo vocational training in geodesy, cartography, photogrammetry and cadastral measurements, and to submit an engineer’s degree thesis.
Upon the completion of the relevant vocational training, the graduate is entitled to apply for a professional license of surveyor or map compiler. Studies in the area of Geoinformatics prepare the graduate for employment in surveying and geoinformatic surveying companies, and in central and local administration units.

The Faculty of Geodesy, Geospatial and Civil Engineeringeducation requirements
Completed bachelor degree course in field of geodesy or related. An original diploma of first-degree studies completed in Poland or a legalized diploma of higher education institution issued abroad, entitling to undertake second-degree studies in the country where it was issued, recognized under the regulations, as equivalent to the Polish diploma of first-degree studies. Additionally, a certificate should be attached issued by the higher education institution, providing the final results of first-degree studies (without rounding up or down to the full grade, expressed to two decimal places).other requirements

3. An original general certificate of secondary education or other document (with a clause proving the right to apply for admission to higher education institution in the country where the certificate was issued) recognized as equivalent to the Polish general certificate of secondary education. This does not apply to certificates recognized under international agreements.

5. A medical certificate allowing the bearer to undertake studies at the selected programme, according to current legal regulations.
6. Three photographs 37 x 52 mm, taken without headgear, against a light background with CD attached.
7. A photocopy of a passport (the page with a photo).
8. A receipt proving the payment of the enrolment fee.
9. A certificate of Polish origin (applies only to persons of Polish origin).
10. A photocopy of Polish Charter (applies only to its holders).
11. Proof of health insurance valid in Poland (European Union citizens- EHIC card) - after admission.
12. A copy of students visa- after admission.
All documents must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator. Documents that are incomplete or submitted after the closing date will not be accepted. Students (upon their prior written declaration) are entitled to paid accommodation in student hostels.
