The Applied Economic and Social Analysis (AppEcon) study program consists of subjects that are complementary to each other. In the course of learning, we provide information on the current state of knowledge in social sciences as well as analytical tools that enable the determination of effective strategies for operating business environment entities. It guarantees getting education in the scope of broadly understood business support. The thematic scope of the course will refer to three levels, i.e. unit behaviors (micro level), business activities (mezzo level) and socio-economic issues (macro level). Career opportunities:
Dynamic changes on the Polish and international labor market cause that the demand for specialists in the matters of selecting, analyzing, interpreting data and designing solutions for business organizations, financial institutions, both domestic and international, systematically increases.
A graduate of Applied Economic and Social Analysis (AppEcon) will have in-depth knowledge of the importance, significance, possibilities and limitations of using theoretical and empirical knowledge for social analysis. They will also be equipped with knowledge and skills regarding methodology and conducting research as well as quantitative and qualitative analyses. The graduate will be able to use specialized software for analytical work, as well as evaluate the suitability and scope of specific data. Polish and foreign students will be prepared to work in the realities of the international labor market.
