The Warsaw-Illinois Executive MBA (WIEMBA) is structured for busy professionals. The program is designed to complement and bolster one's professional routine. Learning is geared for the individual who has already had success in a career, yet is pushing to achieve more. Executive MBA students have more work experience, including in-depth managerial responsiblity than typical MBA students. Hence, the typical candidate is in his or her mid-thirties. In the case of the WIEMBA program students must have at least three years of work experience.
An important aspect of an EMBA program is the ability to continue working full-time while pursuing an MBA degree. Executive MBA programs typically have a shorter completion time than full-time MBA programs. Classes tend to be either offered every weekend, or as in the WIEMBA program, on Fridays and Saturdays every second week.

Executive MBA is desgined for candidates with practical experience and exposure to real life business problems. You will not benefit from the program if you apply just after your regular studies. That is why we require at least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the fields of management.

Students admitted to the EMBA program must fulfill all the admissions requirements of the Graduate College at the University of Illinois as well as the entrance requirements for postgraduate study at Warsaw University.
