description

The Faculty of New Media Arts is the product of collaboration of PJAIT and the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Students of this unique programme enjoy the benefits of the combination of traditional graphic arts education with studying new technologies.
Besides typography, photography and design for visual communication and advertising, they learn 2D and 3D animation, design for computer games, and interactive applications, as well as the deployment of VR and AR. The projects are done using up-to-date graphic design software, e.g. Adobe and Autodesk

First year of studies:
13800 PLN (studies in Polish) - full-time
15800 PLN (studies in English) - full-time
10500 PLN - extramural weekend

education requirements

Candidates are required to prepare a portfolio in an electronic form in the pdf format. The preferred size is a4. Original format of drawings and paintings – minimum size 50×70 cm. The portfolio should include drawing, painting and photography. Additionally to the required works you can add any other forms of art (comics, animation frames, character design, etc.)

photography (in colour or black-and-white portrait, landscape, or any other composition)

interview
The interview aims to verify the candidate's level of the English language and knowledge of the following topics: painting, architecture, theatre, film, exhibitions, museums. Only after the positive review of the portfolio, the candidate will be invited for an interview.

1. a signed application for admission:
2. school leaving certificate (świadectwo maturalne) - original. In the case a candidate has taken examinations other than the Polish matura, we require also a sworn translation and nostrification and apostille (if necessary);
3. copy of an official ID (to be confirmed by us against the original);
4. 1 digital photography uploaded to the enrolment portal
5. copy of payment for the qualifying interview (75zł). Payment should be made to your individual account number - see the profile on the registration portal.
