The study program thoroughly leads to the acquisition of comprehensive knowledge, skills, and social competencies in the area of broadly understood visual arts, both taking into account artistic sub-disciplines (drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, intermedia, multimedia), as well as design textile design or animation design, computer games. Thus, education includes a variety of forms of creative activity, allowing them to realize interdisciplinary artistic projects, freely combining multiple media. The introduction of subjects from the history of art into the classroom grid, contemporary art, animation, promotion, and dissemination of visual culture is to broaden the awareness of future artists as participants in cultural and artistic life, but also designers, organizers for the needs of functioning institutions, organizations, companies. RECRUITMENT The recruitment process for the bachelor's degree program includes an assessment of artistic aptitude, including a review of a portfolio of previously prepared artworks (the portfolio of artworks visual arts should consist of drawing and painting studies of still life, architectural objects, landscapes, and human figures). For candidates for English-language studies who do not have the relevant language certificates (listed in the applicable recruitment resolution), there is an additional interview in English on interests and motivations related to taking up art studies. The bachelor's degree program graduate is prepared for in-depth education in art and design at the level of the second-degree program. GRADUATE PROFILE Graduates of the bachelor's degree program are prepared to use a variety of media of the visual arts, combining them for undertaken initiatives cultural-artistic initiatives, including projects dedicated to the animation, promotion, and dissemination of visual culture in cooperation with institutions, organizations, and companies established for this purpose institutions, organizations, and companies. As a designer with a universal artistic predisposition, complemented by specialized content in design textiles or games and animation, he can fulfill himself as a design artist.

Step 1 Start the application process by contacting the Faculty Recruitment Committee by e-mail: rekrutacjaws@ujk.edu.pl. We will support you during all the steps of application process. Step 2 Register online via University’s admissions portal: https://rekrutacja.ujk.edu.pl. Step 3 Attach to your recruitment account: • portfolio, which consists of digital photos: a set of minimum 10 art works in size not less than A3, including painting, drawing and graphic techniques, undertaking a study of nature (still life, landscape, human figure) – minimum 10 pieces in a size not less than A3 • a digital copy of an English translated high school/secondary school diploma, • a digital copy of a document confirming English language proficiency, if high school/secondary school education wasn’t conducted in English (Cambridge English First- FCF, IELT 5-6.5, TOEFL iBT 87-105) • 1 colour digital photograph in jpg format, 2cm x 2.5cm (236 x 295 pixels) Step 4 Pay the application fee in the amount of 150 PLN (non-refundable administrative fee) to the account number from the recruitment account and send confirmation of payment by e-mail: rekrutacjaws@ujk.edu.pl.
