The faculty educates specialists in such fields as analytical and medicinal chemistry, materials science, advanced technologies, biotechnology (pharmaceutical and environmental biotechnology) and chemical engineering. Faculty of Chemistry is involved in new initiatives connected with high standard of education – specialisations taught in English (Bioinformatics, Medicinal Chemistry, Advanced Materials, Chemical Metallurgy), and in international co-operation within such programmes as the Neisse University, LLP-Erasmus.
Students of the Faculty of Chemistry have an opportunity to develop their interests and broaden their knowledge in student scientific circles Allin, Biotop, ChemiTech, Gambrinus, Materialiści and PhoBiA (international, interfaculty scientific circle). Individual scientific research, activities connected with the popularisation of chemistry or organisation of conferences and participating in discussions are only examples of the activity of scientific circles. Students use the opportunity to participate in foreign exchanges in co-operation with universities in the EU member states.

2000 EUR per semester Application fee:
200 EUR for candidates applying on different terms than applicable to Polish citizens
85 PLN for candidates applying on the same terms as applicable to Polish citizens
