Interstudent 2021 - competition for the best foreign student in Poland

A year ago, we planned that soon there will be 100,000 of foreign students in Poland. Then we worried that because of the epidemic, everyone would leave. Now it's time to reward the best of them!

This is the 11th edition of the Interstudent competition, in which we reward the best foreign students who study at Polish universities. We are looking - as every year - for ambitious people, good students, but most of all for active, committed people who build bridges between cultures. And every year, thanks to cooperation with universities, we find many excellent candidates.

This year we will have a special task: we want to present foreign students who, despite the fears and difficulties caused by the epidemic, stayed in our country. They study, work socially, get involved in the life of their communities. They are an example for colleagues and ambassadors of Polish universities in their countries.

We are waiting for applications until February 10, 2021. Then the Competition Jury will meet - probably online, headed by prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk, chairman of KRASP, under whose patronage we are organizing the competition. Traditionally, we will award prizes in three basic categories: bachelor's studies, master's studies and doctoral studies. The jury may also award a Special Prize for special achievements and commitment.

The official announcement of the results of the Interstudent 2021 competition will take place in February during the conference "Foreign students in Poland 2021", which will be hosted by the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences. For obvious reasons, we do not know yet the formula of the award gala (we will definitely put safety first), but we will certainly make sure that the winners of the competition in the pandemic year are properly honored!

We invite you to submit candidates: foreign students of public and private universities from all degrees, all faculties and countries. We are waiting for the candidacies of young people who not only do well in their studies, but also show "extraordinary" social, scientific and sports commitment.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 10, 2021 to the e-mail address: m.chrostna@perspektywy.pl
