Course Description

Course Profile

Through the program Public Health, students acquire knowledge in medical sciences, social processes, economic aspects, and organizational management, focusing on creating and monitoring systems for managing epidemiological safety and responding to public health threats nationally and internationally, as well as understanding healthcare systems and health policy.

Students of the first-cycle studies in public health may choose one of the following specializations:

epidemiology and biostatistics,

dental hygiene,

occupational health protection,

organization and management in health care.

A graduate showing the acquired qualifications may seek employment in public and private health care establishments, the National Health Fund, companies offering health insurance, institutions supervising and regulating the operation of the health care system, etc. The graduate is prepared to seek admittance to second degree studies. 

Education Requirements

Qualification to English language program is based on:

- secondary school leaving examination certificate or secondary education diploma or equivalent which entitles the candidate to be considered for admission to a university program in the country it was obtained

- certificate documenting English language fluency level
