Course Description

Course Profile

The study program is designed to provide graduates with the opportunity to  obtain expanded, interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of health sciences and the competences necessary to effectively participate in solving various health problems. Particular emphasis is places on recognizing the dependencies and conditions that occur and influence the health of people and communities, in connection with demographic, economic, cultural and epidemiological changes taking place in the surrounding environment, and the ability to efficiently manage them.

A student may choose one of the following specializations:

occupational health and safety,

organization and management in healthcare,

environmental health and prevention of environmental diseases.

Education Requirements

The qualification procedure for the second-cycle degree program in public health is based on:

- the grade point average obtained during the whole period of the first cycle degree program related to medical field (the grade point average calculated as an arithmetic average of the results of all examinations, credits ending a subject, obtained throughout the study period),

- certificate documenting English language fluency level.
