CONFERENCE

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN POLAND 2016

Gdańsk 21-22 January 2016

Invitation

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The 2016 edition of the annual conference on “International Students in Poland” will take place at the Medical University of Gdansk on 21 and 22 January 2016. Kindly mark the date in your calendar not to miss this important event.

Internationalisation is the main force behind the development of higher education around the world. In the last few years also Poland has seen a raise in the number of programmes offered in foreign languages and in the number of international students. Polish higher education institutions increasingly make internationalisation a priority. We invite rectors, vice-rectors, deans, heads of international offices and promotion, as well as representatives of municipal and regional governments to participate at the “International Students in Poland 2016” conference.

The conference will be dedicated to pressing issues in internationalisation of the Polish higher education, mobility of student and staff, as well as to promotion of the intellectual potential of cities and regions. The conference will also be an excellent opportunity to learn about best internationalization practices in Poland and in other countries.

Our annual conference is a part of the "Study in Poland" programme, a joint initiative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) and PERSPEKTYWY Education Foundation. The conference will be hosted this year by the Medical University of Gdansk and the City Hall of Gdansk.
