A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT

SPEND A SEMESTER IN THE UK

Coventry University offers many opportunities for development. You could have the opportunity to study in the UK for part of your degree. This is subject to visa requirements and may incur additional fees.

GRADUATE ATTRIBUTES

It’s important to feel confident, prepared and knowledgeable when you take those first steps on your future path after university. To help you get there, we have defined key graduate attributes that will set you up for life and entering the world of work.

A DIFFERENT WAY OF STUDYING

Our innovative way of learning means you can start at a time that suits you. You can choose to start your degree in SEPTEMBER, NOVEMBER, JANUARY, MARCH, MAY OR JUNE, so you aren’t limited to just one or two intakes each year.

You’ll also benefit from our modular learning model ’life-shaped learning’. A FIXED TIMETABLE means you’ll know exactly when your classes are so your studies can fit into your life alongside your other commitments.

Classes take place between 9am-1pm, Monday to Friday so there’s no uncertainty about when your classes are.

You’ll study just ONE SUBJECT AREA AT A TIME, allowing you to give it your full attention and gain confidence before moving on to the next subject.

You’ll be assessed in a variety of ways throughout your course and unlike the traditional university experience, there are NO END-OF-YEAR EXAMS. Many courses are assessed by coursework or practical assessments throughout the year. This allows you to showcase your abilities as well as help us understand how you are progressing and how we can best support you.

The modular grid shows you how the staggered start dates work in your favour, giving you the FLEXIBILITY TO PICK A START DATE to best suit your needs.

No matter when you start, all full-time students study FOUR MODULES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

EXPAND YOUR EMPLOYABILITY

University is all about expanding your horizons. We’ll help you to develop personally and  professionally, with opportunities to expose yourself to different perspectives and experience new things.

We’ll do everything we can to help you feel at home while you study here and support you to reach your full academic potential and get you ready to start your career.

CAREER-FOCUSED LEARNING

Our degrees are designed with industry in mind, and the aim of addressing the needs of local, national and global employers to maximise your potential career progression. Our teaching is continually adapted to stay up-to-date with current trends, methods and software. You could also benefit from relevant placement opportunities1 which can equip you with valuable workplace experience.

FIELD TRIPS

Field trips are a great way of improving your understanding of your subject, interacting with professionals in the field and bettering your knowledge of working solo or as part of a team.

Previous trips have seen students visit Collins Aerospace, Ryanair, Chopin Airport and the Detention Centre in Wrocław.

CAREERS FAIR

Every year, we aim to host a careers fair that offers you further chances to learn more about your subject, network with other professionals, enhance your employability, explore industry trends and make informed decisions about your professional future.

Some of the previous employers have included IAGGBS, Bank of New York Mellon, Wizz Air, Embraer, Siemens, NatWest and Smith+Nephew.

We support you in developing these attributes with relevant skills and experiences built into our courses and a variety of personal development opportunities. As a Coventry University Wrocław graduate, you’ll feel ready personally and professionally – able to confidently talk about and apply your knowledge and skills.
