Safya Elsharkawy from Egypt is a PhD student at the Faculty of Non-Ferrous Metals at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. She conducts research on electro-catalysis and advanced materials for production of hydrogen. Ms. Elsharkawy has already published ten articles in prestigious international scientific journals and presents her research at several international and national scientific conferences. She is actively involved in the student community; organizes regular meetings where she teaches students how to undertake research, apply for scholarships and work for academic and professional success.
