The UITM is a forward-thinking University committed to the transformative power of education, research, development and support for students and staff. In addition to educational activities, we run many research projects and we organize numerous scientific and industry conferences. We have developed a strong relation with businesses and local government that benefits us all.

In the last 3 decades, over 60 thousand people have studied here, both from Poland and abroad. UITM is home to communities of students from all over the world. Ambitious goals laid out in the University Strategy by 2025 are set to increase the international student community to 40%.

According to the latest Report “Study in Poland” UITM has been placed 12th in Poland in the Internationalization category among all Polish universities. 

In the last three years, the number of international students studying in English has more than doubled. Young people from more than 70 countries chose UITM as they were drawn to the idea of a vibrant international community at the University, whose diploma is recognized globally. We have created an environment for learning and working that is tolerant and respectful of differences. With nearly 1400 International Students, we have welcomed candidates from all continents. Over 4000 UITM Alumni went on to have a brilliant career in their home country or elsewhere, many of them stayed in Poland where they have found employment in various sectors. 

For many years, our University has been implementing a long-term sustainable development strategy. The expert combination of science and education at UITM with business diversifies our revenue sources. Today, the University's non-teaching activities, account for more than half of the total revenue, making UITM quite unique.

The above combination means also that we provide practical education based on the academic and theoretical knowledge. We understand which skills are in high demand and which new professions are emerging in an ever-changing world.

Our offer is structured in such a way that, in addition to programming and nursing, where there is a significant shortage of professionals, we have launched the training of specialists who will be able to solve modern civilization challenges such as cybersecurity threats, global warming, and protecting biodiversity. Our efforts have been recognized by independent organizations such as EU U-Multirank, which ranked us first in Poland in a variety of categories.
