Education at Doctoral Schools is free. Each participant is given a scholarship in the amount of PLN
2,372 (pre-tax, insurance premiums are deducted from this amount). However, each candidate needs
to pay a recruitment fee in the amount of PLN 150

Course Description
Course Profile
Doctoral School No. 2 of the Warsaw University of Technology implements a scientific program for PhD students conducting research and preparation of doctoral dissertations in the disciplines realized within the fields of Engineering and Technology as well as Social Sciences:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Automation, Electronic and Electrical Engineering
- Management and Quality Studies.
The task of the School is to acquaint PhD students with the world achievements covering theoretical foundations as well as general and specific issues concerning the above disciplines, with the main development trends, research methodology, principles of disseminating the results of scientific activity, basic principles of knowledge transfer to the economic and social environment, issues related to the protection of intellectual property, modern techniques of conducting didactic classes.
The education program of Doctoral School No. 2 is realized within four faculties of the Warsaw University of Technology:
- Faculty of Mechatronics
- Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering
- Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering
- Faculty of Production Engineering
- Faculty of Management
with full access to the didactic offer of other Doctoral Schools (and Faculties) as well as programs offered by external units.
Education Requirements
The candidate needs to have a master's degree or equivalent, obtained in Poland or in another country, where the rules for recognition of education obtained abroad are set out in separate provisions or meet the conditions referred to in art. 186 section 2 of the Law on Higher Education and Science.
Other Requirements
a letter from The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange confirming that the candidate’s diploma issued by universities from outside the European Union entitles the candidate to undertake education at the Doctoral School
