Tuition and Other Fees

Education at Doctoral Schools is free. Each participant is given a scholarship in the amount of PLN 2,372 (pre-tax, insurance premiums are deducted from this amount). However, each candidate needs to pay a recruitment fee in the amount of PLN 150.

Admissions procedure to Doctoral Schools No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 is conducted in Fall and Spring semester.

Course Description

Course Profile

The educational program at Doctoral School No. 4 is implemented in three scientific disciplines:

• mechanical engineering,
• environmental engineering, mining and energy
• automation, electronic and electrical engineering

The School provides supervision of academic teachers conducting research at 5 Faculties:

• Faculty of Electrical Engineering,
• Faculty of Building Services, Hydro and Environmental Engineering,
• Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering,
• Faculty of Mechatronics,

Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering

Education Requirements

The candidate needs to have a master's degree or equivalent, obtained in Poland or in another country, where the rules for recognition of education obtained abroad are set out in separate provisions or meet the conditions referred to in art. 186 section 2 of the Law on Higher Education and Science.

Other Requirements

a letter from The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange confirming that the candidate’s diploma issued by universities from outside the European Union entitles the candidate to undertake education at the Doctoral School
