Course Description

Course Profile

- 6 semesters, full-time mode, 

- 2,452 hours of theoretical classes - held on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays (occasionally on Sundays), 

- 2,300 hours of practical classes and professional practice - carried out according to a schedule adapted to the needs of working students. 

Professional profile of a Nursing graduate. 

A graduate of professional nursing studies obtains a bachelor's degree in nursing. Professional preparation requires solid professional knowledge from nursing graduates, with particular emphasis on problems related to prevention, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, care in the event of illness and disability, and the provision of professional emergency assistance. 

As a result of comprehensive education, a nursing graduate will have: 

• knowledge in the field of medical, nursing and social sciences, 

• the ability to help an individual, family, social group in achieving full physical and social capabilities in the living, working and teaching environment, 

• the ability to provide professional nursing care for a person, family, social group, based on the principles of ethics and holistic perception of man, 

• ability to initiate and support local community activities for health. 

 After obtaining a bachelor's degree and the right to practice the profession, the graduate will find employment in: 

- hospital, 

- clinic, 

- sanatorium, 

- hospice, 

- social welfare homes, 

- nursing and care facilities; 

- care and medical facilities, 

- enterprises of a healthcare entity, 

- public and private long-term care facilities.
