Course Description

Course Profile

The prestigious English-language International Business Bachelor’s Degreee was established based on the unique specialization experience conducted at the Faculty of Economics since 2008. The study program encompasses various topics, including international trade, marketing, transport, finance, globalization, and business relations at the international level. The International Business (IB) also addresses cultural differences in business, preparing graduates for work in culturally and linguistically diverse teams.

The skills, knowledge, and competences acquired during the studies enable students to work in international corporations. By opting for the International Business Bachelor’s Degree, students have the opportunity to:

- Acquire knowledge and skills necessary for professional work when analyzing international economic and social phenomena, considering cultural differences.

- Learn foreign languages, leading to the acquisition of high linguistic competences in both speech and writing.

- Attend classes conducted in collaboration with business practitioners.

- Participate in the ERASMUS+ program, utilized by nearly 130 students of our faculty every year.

- Study in one of many countries worldwide with which the faculty has signed bilateral agreements, including the USA, China, Japan, and Korea.

- Obtain an international certificate in the London Stock Exchange Group Eikon Lab computer laboratory.

- Demonstrate activity within the academic community by participating in numerous student organizations, scientific clubs, and AIESEC.

- Attend classes held in modern lecture halls, classrooms, and computer laboratories.

- Utilize databases and global publications, student zones, public computer stations, free Wi-Fi, and the E-student system, where almost all student matters can be handled.

- Learn using specialized computer programs used in various industries, e.g., SAP for logistics, LSEG Eikon for economic data analysis, Statistica, and SPSS for statistical data analysis.

- Enjoy free access to Microsoft and IBM programs, such as Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note), Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Project Professional, Access, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, Visual Studio, Visio, IBM SPSS.
