West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (ZUT) is a public university that carries forward the long-standing traditions of the University of Agriculture and the Szczecin University of Technology (both established in the 1950s), following their merger on January 1, 2009. With its diverse educational offerings, significant research potential, and attractive location in the capital of the West Pomeranian region, ZUT is an excellent choice for students pursuing careers in agriculture, architecture and construction, bio- and nanotechnologies, economics and management, engineering, environmental protection, ICTs, natural resources management or renewable energy.
Currently, approximately 6,000 students are enrolled in more than 40 Bachelor’s and Master’s programs across 11 faculties:

For those aiming higher, our Doctoral School offers PhD programs in 14 specialized disciplines.
The University actively collaborates with the business sector, ensuring that curricula are aligned with current labour market needs. This partnership provides students with attractive internships and placements, significantly enhancing the employability of ZUT’s graduates.
To support academic growth and student well-being, the university provides:
• access to approximately 90 student research groups.
• The Academic Career Incubator, which connects students and graduates with potential employers.
• international mobility opportunities, including Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs), study exchanges with more than 230 partner universities and practical placements funded by Erasmus+ Programme and IAESTE.
• A wide range of sports facilities, including the Physical Education and Sports Center and a dedicated Horse Riding Center.
• Comprehensive support for students with disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Professional psychological support and counseling.
Since 2024 ZUT has been a proud member of the EUNICoast European University Alliance focusing on the societal and environmental challenges of coastal communities. This membership has opened up new and exciting perspectives for students in the areas of education, research and international mobility.
