Course Description

Course Profile

Graduates of the dietetics bachelor’s degree program, in accordance with the European trend of treating dietetics as a medical profession, will receive preparation in medical and health sciences, taking into account those aspects of knowledge that are necessary in work with patients in a medical context, but wish to deal with dietary counseling addressed to healthy people with special nutritional needs related to their lifestyles.

The foundation of first-cycle education in health and medical sciences and food and nutrition sciences is common to all students and is the starting point for continuing education in, one of two specializations chosen by students: Clinical Dietetics or Nutrition in Sports and Fitness. By offering a choice of specializations, we are answering the educational needs of those adepts of the dietetics profession who do not feel predisposed to work with patients in a medical context, but wish to deal with dietary counseling addressed to healthy people with special nutritional needs related to their lifestyles.
