Course Description

Course Profile

Data Engineering is an innovative field addressing the demand for specialists in data processing, analysis, and IT systems. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications, aligning with the European Digital Agendaand the EU 2020 Strategy. Graduates gain skills  skills in the use of computational, analytical and IT systems, as well as information processing and storage, preparing them for further studies or careers in data-driven industries.

Specializations:

1. Data Modelling and Analysis

Focuses on solving practical problems through advanced data analysis and specialized software. Skills include:

Selecting appropriate tools for problem-solving.

Analysing and processing data for insights and reports.

2. Designing and Managing Analytical Systems

Covers IT systems, databases, and network security. Skills include:

Database design and management.

Ensuring data security and efficient system operation.

This program equips students with the expertise needed for careers in a knowledge-based economy.

Education Requirements

Admission requirements: 

Candidates will be admitted according to the ranking list based on the results of the matriculation examination.

Number of points for the ranking is determined as the weighted average number of points corresponding to the matriculation examination in subjects specific to the field of study.
