Information About The Field Of Study

During their studies, students gain knowledge about the political and legal systems, recent political history, political marketing, parties and party systems, they can complete specializations on the functioning of local government administration, special services or security and military policy.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of Political Studies, understanding the processes taking place on a global scale and fluent in English, will find themselves as experts in all types of institutions and organizations operating supranational and interstate, in the media, as well as in the private sector. Thus, the studies prepare m.in to undertake international cooperation, and the skills and knowledge of the graduates will correspond to the current institutional and market needs.

Education Requirements

Admission to second degree studies is restricted to persons who hold the title of master’s degreee (MSc), engineer, bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.

The candidates are admitted according to the ranking list based on the adjusted score indicated on the completed studies diploma and the compatibility or relatedness of completed studies with the selected second degree course.

A first degree course is compatible with the selected second degree course if it is the same type of course (with the title bachelor’s degree (BSc), engineer or equivalent.

Related courses are: administration, national security, homeland security, economy, European studies, philosophy, history, social policy, law, sociology, and international relations.

In the case of the same place in ranking list an additional criterion is the adjusted score of a diploma examination grade.
