Course Description

Course Profile

The curriculum includes a broad range of subjects covering different medical specialties. The cross-section of disciplines prepares our doctors-to-be for professional practice and helps them choose their future specialization path. The curriculum also includes obligatory 4-week summer placements after years 1-5 in nursing, outpatient health care, family medicine, internal diseases, surgery, emergency medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, and paediatrics.

The programme includes such courses as: anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, surgery, internal medicine, pathophysiology, family medicine, anaesthesiology, pharmacology, toxicology, microbiology, transplantology, radiology, paediatrics, laboratory medicine, neurology, immunology, emergency medicine, gynaecology, ophthalmology, public health, parasitology, elements of nursing, and many others.

Education Requirements

Required documents:

1. your upper secondary school leaving certificate or diploma which:

• is validated (legalised) or affixed with apostille,
• gives the right to apply to all types of higher education institutions in the country where it was issued and is equal
  to the Polish upper secondary school leaving certificate,
• includes the following subjects: (1) Biology and (2) Chemistry or Physics;

1. a document confirming your right to apply to all types of higher education institutions in your home country - if this is not stated in your secondary school leaving certificate statement;
2. a valid medical certificate confirming your ability to take
   up studies;
3. a valid passport;
4. decision of high school diploma recognition issued by
   the provincial education superintendent (kurator oświaty) before 30 June 2025 / Individual Recognition Statement issued
   by NAWA after 30 June  2025 / confirmation of completion
   of the application registered in the SYRENA system;

proof of English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level (only the documents specified in the REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION
of 30 July 2025 on the types of documents certifying language proficiency in the language of instruction at study programmes).
