Course Description

Course Profile

Mechanical Engineering is a new field of study taught in English at Poznan University of Technology. It meets the needs of the modern job market and international industry.

By following this degree programme, you will gain comprehensive technical expertise that will prepare you for working in modern industrial sectors – from machine design and manufacturing techniques to advanced technologies related to automation, robotics and digital engineering support.

While studying this field, you will learn, among others:

• to use mathematics and physics to solve engineering problems,
• to design machine parts and complex mechanical structures,
• to select materials and appropriate manufacturing technologies,
• to use CAD/CAE/CAM tools,
• to conduct simulations and experiments,
• to understand the operation of machines, robots and mechatronic systems.

The curriculum of studies combines sound theoretical foundations with practical aspects – laboratory classes, projects and teamwork reflect real industrial challenges.
