Course Description

Course Profile

Quantum Technologies is an interdisciplinary field combining quantum physics with classical and quantum computing, AI, photonics, electronics and materials engineering. The curriculum of studies prepares students for the design, manufacture, characterization and implementation of quantum technology components and systems. Thanks to its strong connection with the discipline of materials engineering (51%), the programme guarantees the development of wide-ranging competencies in the design of functional materials, nanostructures and thin-film structures, which form the foundation of modern qubit platforms, sensors and quantum communication systems.

During your studies, you will gain unique skills, e.g. how to program quantum computers, design quantum sensors, or integrate quantum communication systems. The curriculum emphasizes the construction of ultra-precise metrology systems, advanced computer simulations, data analysis and quantum computing, creating broad employment prospects in Poland and abroad in the rapidly developing quantum technologies sector as well as related fields.
