Course Profile
What do we teach?
In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, business models play a fundamental role in creating a coherent company management system. A new approach to organising and managing production processes requires modern, innovative technologies that change not only manufacturing processes, but also how work, communication and management are organised. Our teaching is fully adapted to changes and market expectations.
You will get to know:
• subjects include general engineering and managerial education;
• subjects related to the organisation and preparation of production within a company;
• quantitative methods and the use of information systems in managing different types of processes;
• issues related to the management and leadership of human resources;
• running one's own business;
• social and economic subjects related to acquiring organisational and business management skills in a market economy;
• methods of analysing, diagnosing and designing organisational and business management systems.
Why is it worth it?
The Factory of the Future must be able to respond dynamically to ever-changing consumer demands and current trends. The ability to adapt flexibly to the situation is the key to success. The roles of managers and employees are changing. Managers are becoming more like work organisers, while employees are becoming independent team members who are aware of the company's goals. By understanding the organisation's needs and priorities, employees can make more informed decisions, improve procedures and algorithms, and suggest new solutions. Automating manufacturing processes and communication, including human-robot communication, is of great importance. This is why Production Management and Engineering is one of the most promising faculties. We understand the expectations of entrepreneurs and analyse them. We have designed our study programme with them in mind. Upon completion of the programme, you will be able to link technical issues to economic and social ones. This will allow you to properly prepare and organise the production process, while also assessing the impact of production decisions on the overall functioning of the company and its economic and financial results.
