For the third time ‘Study in Poland’, Perspektywy Education Foundation’s and Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Schools (KRASP) initiative, launches INTERSTUDENT 2012- a contest for the best international student in Poland. The three laureates representing Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral level studies will be announced on the 17th of January 2013 at an official Gala during the ‘International Students in Poland 2013’ Conference in Warsaw. Prof. Wiesław Banyś, rector of the University of Silesia and President of KRASP, is the honorary patron of this year’s edition.

Four university football teams from Poland and six from Ukraine will meet in the Ukrainian capital to compete for the ‘StudentEuro’ championship. The finals will be held in Kiev from the 3rd to 7th of October 2012.
StudentEuro’ 2012 is the third edition of the competition, organized since 2010. The tournament is organized by Perspektywy Education Foundation and Polish Academic Sports Association (AZS) on the Polish side, and by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine and Polish-Ukrainian Center at the National Technical University of Ukraine on the Ukrainian side. In 2013 the academic football teams will meet in Poland.

(19 August 2012) Polish universities have introduced a free iPhone and iPad app to spread information internationally about opportunities in Polish higher education, and an Android version is promised soon - inform University World News in its issue No:235.

(20 July 2012) Mobile application of the Study in Poland has been developed to help foreign students find out what can they study in English in Polish universities. Thanks to the mobile technology potential international students may now easily access information on over 350 programs thought in English in over 40 best Polish universities. The application is available free at App Stores all over the world.
