Course Profile

The Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin started  interdisciplinary 4-year education of  the first doctoral students on October 1, 2019.

The comprehensive educational  program of the Doctoral School of  the University of Szczecin offers  multidirectional preparation of  young scientists for independent  functioning in the domestic and  foreign scientific environment and  high development of research skills.

The Doctoral School at University of Szczecin provides educational programmes in 18 different fields: Philosophy, History, Linguistics, Literary Studies, Physical Culture Sciences, Economics and Finance, Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management, Political and Administrative Sciences, Management and Quality Sciences, Legal Sciences, Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociological Science, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Theological Sciences.

Education Requirements

Diploma of completion of first-cycle and second-cycle studies or long-cycle Master’s program, along with a diploma supplement. If the diploma has not yet been issued, the candidate must submit a certificate from the university confirming the defense of the Master’s thesis or a certificate confirming enrolment in the final semester of second cycle studies or long-cycle Master’s program, including the average grade from all semesters, except for the final semester.
