Course Description

Course Profile

There is a growing demand for biomedical engineers with interdisciplinary knowledge of medicine, computer science, and medical devices. Such a background is indispensable to meet the demands of the rapidly changing healthcare system, which strives to accommodate the needs of patients and healthcare personnel. This specialty is addressed to inquisitive students interested in biomedical applications of artificial intelligence, big data, mobile and wearable devices, augmented and virtual reality. We encourage students to carry out their research projects or join one of several students’ science clubs. The courses will be taught by the faculty of the Biomedical Engineering Department and IT professionals who, in many cases, are our graduates. Practical training will help students to find their first job.

Education Requirements

Requirements: secondary school certificate, received after the completion of a recognized secondary school (12 years of education in total), being the equivalent of Polish Matriculation certificate.
