Course Description
Course Profile
The didactic offer of Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport is modern, wide and varied. As part of the field of study, a student may choose a specialisation from a wide range of specialisations designed to meet the needs of the labour market and supplement it with other specialisations offered by the university.
During the studies, the student takes up:
one of the coaching specialisations offered by the university or,
instead of 1 training specialisation, the student can choose 2 instructor specialisations or instructor and other specialisations, increasing his competences and competitiveness on the labor market.
TRAINING SPECIALISATIONS
• Gymnastics, Judo, Basketball, Bodybuilding, Athletics, Football, Handball, Volleyball, Swimming, Sport and dynamic shooting, Tennis, Sailing, Board sailing (windsurfing and kiteboarding), Motor preparation.
INSTRUCTOR AND OTHER SPECIALIZATIONS
• Gymnastics, Judo, Basketball, Bodybuilding, Athletics, Football, Handball, Volleyball, Swimming, Sport and dynamic shooting, Tennis, Sailing, Board sailing (windsurfing and kiteboarding),
• Fitness – weight exercises, Fitness – modern forms of gymnastics,
• Motor preparation, Motor preparation in martial arts, Personal trainer,
• Sport Analytics, Sport Devices, Sport Communication and Journalism, Wellness, Business Models, Sport Management, Organization of sport events.
• NOTE: The launch of a given specialization depends on the registration of the required number of applicants.
Education Requirements
Registration of foreign candidates for academic year 2024/2025 in the IRK system to study in English starts March 15 and lasts untill September 15, 2024.
Academic year starts October 1, 2024.
If you don’t have Polish citizenship
you must apply as foreigner. All candidates applying to GUPES undergo the same proces of evaluation regardless of their qualifications.
If you have Polish citizenship (even as dual citizenship)
you must apply on the basis of rules for Polish citizens. Remember: if you hold multiple citizenships and Polish is one of them (e.g. dual citizenship), then you are legally a Polish citizen and you must apply on the basis of rules for Polish citizens.
