Course Description

Course Profile

The Faculty of Information Technology at PJA IT offers graduate study programs in Computer Science for students who have completed their undergraduate studies at the university or elsewhere. The curriculum of these programs is tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.

We strive to keep abreast of current technological trends and market demands in order to ensure that our graduates are equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills.

During each academic term, students are required to take a set of mandatory courses, as well as elective and specialized courses. Each course successfully completed by a student earns them a certain number of academic credits.

Upon completion of each course, students receive a specific number of credits towards their degree. The topics of the master's thesis are carefully selected to align with the interests of the student.

Throughout the course of study at the academy, students have the opportunity to take an intensive English language course and an optional Japanese language course.

Education Requirements

Required Documents:

• digital photo of the candidate uploaded to the admission portal

• signed application form 

• scanned copy of identity document (passport)

• qualification procedure form (protocol)

• scanned copy of the Diploma with its Suplement

• translation of documents (into Polish or English)

• apostille / legalization (if necessary)

• CV, certificates, certificate of completed courses - only in case of completion of first degree studies in non-technical fields (possible confirmation of professional experience if the work is related to IT).

• confirmation of payment for the qualification procedure (85 PLN). 

Other Requirements

Admission to studies is based on a qualification procedure and an analysis of the completed bachelor's degree program. In the case of differences in curricula, the candidate must take into account the necessity to complete individual subjects before or during the completion of the master's studies.

Additionally required:

• basic knowledge of: theory of relational databases, statistical methods, basics of programming, use of operating systems, basics of computer networks

• English language skills at least at B2 level

In addition, when choosing the specialization "Data Science", it is expected that the candidate will have basic knowledge in the field of Python programming and the use of UNIX operating systems.
