Course Description
Course Profile
With a changing climate, a growing population and the increasing needs of mankind, there is a demand for the intensive use and shaping of the environment we live in on the one hand, and the protection of this environment on the other.
Our MSc course offers expert knowledge in the field of engineering and environmental protection that fits in with the needs of a rapidly developing world.
Our studies provide a comprehensive education in the rational management of natural resources, but also in the forecasting, assessment, prevention and remediation of human impact on the environment. These studies are interdisciplinary, related to the principles of ecology and environmental protection, integrated with engineering solutions and using the latest and advanced technologies. Graduates have an understanding of how to reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment using biological and technical measures. The course focuses particularly on the rural environment, but also covers a wide range of problems in industrial and urban landscapes.
The course of study is suitable for students interested in both technical issues and natural sciences. Candidates for registration on this MSc course must first hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent).
Graduates are prepared to work in: companies preparing environmental impact assessment reports and monitoring the environment, various companies involved in environmental engineering, construction and installation, water engineering and environmental infrastructure development, planning agencies and urban and rural administrations.
